Meet The Founder

Hey, I am
Priti, the owner and chef of "Indian
Vegan Kitchen".
I developed my passion for cooking at an early age of five. My first
teacher was my grandmother, who was a master of making delicious food
from very few ingredients. It was in my grandma's kitchen where I
learned how to make perfectly round rotis at a young age :)
Cooking and sharing delicious food has created many joyful memories for
me since childhood. For me, good food, friends and family is what life
is all about.
I started a new journey in cooking when I turned vegan in 2013. On a
plant-based lifestyle, I started missing my favourite north-indian
curries with soft naan. Even though most indian dishes are vegeterian,
it was difficult for me to find them without dairy. I knew I had to
create my own plant-based version of the most cherished indian dishes
like butter chicken, palak paneer, beef vindaloo, naan, biriyani and
more.
It brought me a great joy to share my food at various food festivals.
The love and appreciation I received for my food at these events
inspired me to start a Catering Company called "Indian Vegan Kitchen".
My passion is to provide flavourful, aromatic and homestyle vegan
indian food in New Jersey.
